What are people saying about PIG?
We think PIG is great for growing your business and networking but don’t just take our word for it, here are some testimonials from our PIG members.
The Plymouth PIG has become my favourite meeting of the month which I look forward to attending if I can. The group has helped me to learn and develop my business. I have found the networking invaluable, often doing business with other members with a good feeling of trust the group has provided. Angelos has a good sense of humour, which makes the presentation easy to follow. He always has good speakers attending, who are happy to share their knowledge.
This group feels like family and is well attended each month with a cross section of participants of various backgrounds. The meetings are very professionally run, all very relevant due to the organisers being active investors. I am looking forward to venturing to the new Cornwall meeting next. I am feeling happy to be a participant at the PIG meetings. Many thanks.
The Professional Investment Group has really changed our lives. This community has given us many opportunities to grow both our business and personal network and to develop and expand our property knowledge. The self development aspect is an absolute winner for us as Val McKie has such a fantastic knowledge base and always delivers a great session. We believe in ‘giving back’ and PIG certainly does this in many ways.
The fundamental principles of PIG to ‘ Learn, Inspire, Share & Act’ have led me to become a helper so that I can help Angelos the team continue to grow the PIG community into Cornwall. The members are what make PIG so great and the friendly, approachable family will hopefully be around for a long time for us all.
As someone who is new to property investing, attending PIG meetings has so far been invaluable. PIG has enabled me to connect with practiced investors, and most importantly with knowledgeable professionals who have experience and understanding of my goals. I met my mortgage advisor (David Aggiss – Three Sixty Mortgages) at a PIG meeting; having took inspiration from his presentation involving a mimo story, I invested in the first of many properties and worked with him to ensure a speedy financial transaction (one that my sourcing agent was very impressed with!)
My local group is run by an inspirational and passionate individual, who has achieved financial freedom and who I personally find motivating and captivating – his presentations are never long enough for me! And his success story drives me to want to achieve my goals – anything that starts from humble beginnings in a living room with a handful of people that has progressed to 60+ in a 5* hotel has to be worth a look!
Excellent experts are just one of the perks of attending these networking events, the doors that circulating at a PIG meeting can open for you are significant and extremely beneficial!
I am a full time professional photographer based in Plymouth and have been photographing the meetings regularly since October 2014. In that time, I have seen PIG grow from strength to strength and move to bigger premises – twice. It is a wonderful place to network and many of the members now use my services to help promote their properties, whether they are selling or letting. PIG has helped my business grow and I have also met a lot of great people along the way. Little did I know what impact photographing that meeting in 2014 would have on my business. Thank you Angelos and PIG! www.241photography.co.uk
I have been coming to PIG regularly for the last 10 months and have recently become a PIG Bronze member! I love coming along every month to learn and meet the most inspirational people. Having been in he property industry for the last 15 years, this group has been the such a breath of fresh air. Everyone is very welcoming and provides a wonderful environment in which to network and learn from others in the room.
Each month, Angelos gives us all an amazing overview of the last month’s events and bring to us a wealth of knowledge and some fun facts which makes the evening. I am so delighted with the new venue at Boringdon Hall – a first class venue for an awesome and brilliant investment group. I would recommend PIG to anyone wanting to get connected and gain more information in the property and investment world.
It has been a privilege and a pleasure to watch the growth of PIG, from its original inception to the flourishing group that it has now become. Angelos puts a lot of thought and expertise into each presentation and has used his natural talent to consistently create a positive, creative and fun environment for all the members. I especially like the way that there is such a variety of presentations from both local professionals and national speakers who inspire, motivate, amuse and frequently surprise us; whilst sharing their expertise.
The best thing for me has been to be able to speak freely to other entrepreneurs, who understand the problems and pressures of building a business single handed. The help and support from other PIG members has been an incredible boost to my self confidence and the relaxed format has encouraged me to reach out and ask for insights to help me to clarify my current goals and vision. I’m now looking forward to working with many more of the PIG members to achieve our dreams.
I met PIG members Kris Gregory and Jonathan Burrows when they viewed my HMO for another investor. They were very knowledgeable about the student letting business and the area – but I was pleasantly surprised that they were happy to discuss and share knowledge with me even though their investor didn’t go ahead with the deal.
They suggested PIG would be a great way for me to network with others and added me to the Facebook group, even though I wasn’t a member. When I found a buyer, they helped me out considerably when I could not be in the area for prospective viewings and helped to get the property fully let, even though I had not yet handed over the management. I have found them to be honest and straightforward individuals, willing to help another out without a guaranteed payback. I happily recommended them as managers for the new investor and handed over the reins last year.
They are great ambassadors for PIG as they represent the very best in professional property managers and investors.
Monday was my first property meet, and I wasn’t sure what to expect, but I think I was half expecting a snake pit of ruthless property investors. What a relief to find its just people getting on with their lives. At all levels of the game. I’m working as a self employed stone mason, living in Buckfastleigh. I’ve done a few traditional restoration projects and helped on new builds. My parents were property developers, so I guess I got a taste of it from an early age.
One of the speakers mentioned doing what you love. I do love looking at the potential of property, and improving places, especially with traditional materials and techniques. I haven’t had a full project yet. but with the potential of getting a bit of money together this year, I’m trying to work out how I can get started in the property game. So thanks for an informative, supportive start to the journey. See you next time.
I just want to thank you for putting a great group of people together. PIG for us has been fantastic and we have connected with amazing people which will help our business grow. Also the content you get from the speakers is amazing and keeps expanding our knowledge!
